Red Letters (2020 Remaster)

RTW It felt like a step backward at the time, but now I see it as a last hurrah to the synth-pop style of songwriting EK had mastered. After this he leapt way up into the stratosphere (Caste/Shalabast'r/Pieces of 8), all of which are more complicated and rewarding. This is a great Tanith-like collection of songs, but they aren't quite bursting at the seams to break form like all his work after this would do. Favorite track: Belief On A Breeze.

mattyg107 Nice to see Ka-Spel reissuing and sorting between his site and The Dot's. How organized could your discography be with it amongst all the LPD stuff lol? Great album and Belief sounds like a psychedelic scarface theme. The blissful end of an era - in sensurround :)

thenewspaper This album is a masterpiece in fuzzy boots. Whole album worth playing live. I dream of having it on vinyl--with this artwork, maybe lyric sheets?-- the sorrow-chipping sharpness of the word "cha"... get out my headphones, ma! I'm sniffin' the rag tonight! Favorite track: Seeing Red.
