RTW It felt like a step backward at the time, but now I see it as a last hurrah to the synth-pop style of songwriting EK had mastered. After this he leapt way up into the stratosphere (Caste/Shalabast'r/Pieces of 8), all of which are more complicated and rewarding. This is a great Tanith-like collection of songs, but they aren't quite bursting at the seams to break form like all his work after this would do. Favorite track: Belief On A Breeze.

mattyg107 Nice to see Ka-Spel reissuing and sorting between his site and The Dot's. How organized could your discography be with it amongst all the LPD stuff lol? Great album and Belief sounds like a psychedelic scarface theme. The blissful end of an era - in sensurround :)

This is unexpectedly becoming one of my favorite Dots releases, period, along with Malachai and several other late ‘80s-‘90s highlights (my favorite LPD era). doesn't feel busy or overproduced. Like a b-sides collect for the last two decades. Wish there was more Silverman material, but the song given here is unique... more material like "Drifting..." would be cool. Also, Geisha mermaid is immortal. thenewspaper
